Evening talk: Earth – An Exploration of Cob Building Around the world image

For National Science Week we welcome Alan Cameron-Duff from Earthed to talk about the cob storytelling house that they designed and built at the West Exe Children's Centre in St Thomas. Find out more about the historical inspiration for this wonderful building and its special features: a living roof, locally sourced cob mix and timber. Those who would like to know more can join us at the Cob cook-up session at the house at the West Exe Children's Centre on Saturday 20 March. BSL signed.

Earth is the theme for National Science and Engineering Week 2010 - a week of events taking place from 12 to 21 March across the UK.

Tickets in advance from RAMM in the Library, Castle Street, Exeter EX4 3PQ or call 01392 665858.
