Why support RAMM

Why support RAMM

RAMM is Exeter’s most visited attraction and one of the most exciting and worthwhile charitable causes in the South West. RAMM serves Exeter and Devon but draws also visitors from further afield. It contributes to the quality of life in the city and helps nurture its very identity. Supporting RAMM is good for residents and visitors alike, it’s good for Exeter, good for Devon, good for the Southwest and it’s good for business. RAMM is one of Britain’s finest regional museums and has
• World class collections
• Ten major new exhibitions every year
• Prestigious national partners include the British Museum, the V&A, Royal Collection, National Portrait Gallery
• Spectacular galleries for entertaining
• State of the art conference facilities
• Over a quarter of a million visits each year
• A lively online presence
The trustees of RAMM’s Development Trust, supported by patrons, raise money towards the promotion, support, assistance and improvement of RAMM.
Founded in 1994, the Development Trust has played an essential role in raising money towards major development projects: £143,000 was raised towards the redevelopment of the World Cultures Galleries, which reopened in June 1999 and £153,000 for the 2007-2011 redevelopment and refurbishment programme.
The Development Trust raises money in a variety of ways including, soliciting grants, developing the Business Club, setting up a Patronage system as well as hosting a lively programme of events.
