Family learning
Family Learning covers all forms of informal and formal learning that involve more than one generation. Family groups can include friends as well.
Families are not only our first and most important teachers, they also teach us about the most important things in life. The values, attitudes and culture we learn from our families can stay with us throughout our lives. Family interaction can support the learning, development and engagement of all its members.
Museums are excellent places to foster Family Learning as they offer a less formal environment than schools, the time commitment is flexible and opening hours often accommodate a whole family group. Museums hold a wonderful variety of objects that can appeal to everyone and well thought out activities can involve all ages with success
RAMM is willing to work with all existing Family Learning groups whether in school or out. We aim to provide memorable learning experiences that can be tailored to the needs or interests of the group.
