Sofia Romualdo, REACT Collaborative PhD Studentship 2015-18

Collaborative PhD studentships
RAMM works with the University of Exeter to provide collaborative PhD studentships with material, context and research opportunities. Students work closely with museum staff to obtain original research material. In addition the museum offers students resources. These include access to staff across the museum, participation in and observation of museum activities, working with staff on projects and the opportunity to participate in the wider museum sector.
The museum also provides a workplace supervisor for students. This is a museum professional who can help connect the researcher to the museum resources. Because of the partnership between university and museum this includes guided access to the collections. Additionally they can provide feedback and workplace support to students.
