Ian Wills – Designer
As well as designing our temporary exhibitions, I’m responsible for all the graphics that RAMM produces.
How I ended up at RAMM
During a quiet moment of my work experience with the designer here at the time, I thought to myself – “Maybe one day, this could be me.” Fifteen years later, it is.
Best part of my job
Getting to work behind the scenes at a large museum is a bit like seeing how santa manages to deliver all those presents on Christmas Eve.
A funny thing happened …
After many weeks of an unpleasant smell wafting through the office, my bloodhound-like sense of smell eventually tracked down one of those small fridges hidden high-up on a shelf (unplugged) containing a year old carton of milk. Cup of tea anyone?
What I like most about RAMM
The lovely things people say about it.
If you see me in the Museum, ask me …
The difference between legibility and readability.
