How I ended up at RAMM
I started off volunteering at RAMM as a gallery guide when the museum reopened after the 2007 to 2011 redevelopment. A few years down the line and I began casual shifts with the Visitor Services team. This then progressed into a full time position as a Museum Assistant.
Best part of my job
Interacting with members of the public, helping to make their visits as enjoyable as possible and getting to hear all about the things they love in the museum.
What I like most about RAMM
It’s difficult to choose as there’s so much. I love the architecture and history of the building. I also have favourite artefacts like the tiny Vespasian aureus coin in the Making History gallery. Equally, it is full of lovely people to work with.
