Music Video Filmed at RAMM
1 November 2016
Devon’s latest Inde band sensation The Loft Club have released their music video – filmed at RAMM and featuring Gerald Exeter’s iconic giraffe – to accompany their first EP: Heart’s Desire.
Singer-songwriter Daniel Schamroth said “RAMM was our dream location for the music video as it’s such visual feast! We are honoured to be the first band to be allowed to film there, thanks to all the kind staff and of course to Gerald the Giraffe who was the star of the show!”
The Loft Club
The Loft Club is the first Devon band to be signed-up by the Universal Music Group. Daniel is on lead vocals with Jamie Whyte (bass and vocals), Kieran Chalmers (drums and percussion), and Amy O’Loughlin (vocals and percussion). The EP is on the Lightyear Entertainment label, known for releasing music from artists such as Stevie Nicks, The Eurythmics and Sophie B Hawkins. It is distributed internationally by Universal Music.

RAMM is a source of inspiration for a diverse range of artists across the creative spectrum, and actively champions the development of artistic talent. Lead Councillor for Economy & Culture Rosie Denham “Artists have animated the museum’s amazing collections, provided new ways of looking at our heritage, and they have encouraged dialogue and learning in the city’s Home to a Million Thoughts. Recent support from partners has enabled RAMM to collaborate with some of the country’s leading creative figures.”
