RAMM at Home – a new creative challenge
24 April 2020
RAMM has launched an exciting artistic challenge which will begin on Friday 24th April. RAMM at Home will inspire you with weekly challenges to create your very own museum collection based on our stunning objects.
This exciting project will give people the opportunity to connect with and continue to be inspired by the museum and our collections and tap into everybody’s creative skills, whatever your artistic ability.
With a focus on areas of the museum such as Romans, Natural History, Egyptian mummies and World Cultures, a different challenge will be set every Friday. Drawing sessions, animated creations, origami, costume designing and model making are just some of the artistic ideas that will feature. Artists Cara Roxanne and Felicity Shillingford will guide each step of the way.
For those interested in taking part, challenges will be released on our website and across social media every Friday. Visit www.rammuseum.org.uk/getting-involved/rammhome/ to find out more.
Please share your creations! Place them in your windows for others to see or send them to family and friends to show them you are thinking of them. RAMM would also love to be able to share people’s artwork and ask that people tag RAMM using #RAMMatHome on social media or email pictures through to [email protected]. The museum will then share them on this website.
