RAMM’s collections in your hand and home
5 June 2015
The South West Collections Explorer website takes RAMM’s collections to the world and, to make it easier for everyone wanting a piece of RAMM art for their home or as a gift, many objects are linked to the RAMM print on demand website. It’s not just art you can buy but also high quality photographs of objects from across the collections.
Making collections mobile
The RAMM Collections Explorer website has also just had a facelift using feedback from the last two years. All the existing features are there but presented in a more user friendly way. You can still create your own collection, share your favourite discoveries on social media, comment on objects, read the latest collections research and explore the collections.
The biggest difference mobile and tablet users will find is how the website responds to handheld devices. It gives a more enjoyable browsing experience for the increasing number of online visitors using handheld devices and helps museum visitors use RAMM’s free wifi to view the website.
Visitors can also browse the website on a fixed iPad in Viewpoint.
