Showcase – RAMM’s new digital exhibition and stories space is live
25 June 2020
Showcase live today
Exhibitions on Showcase make full use of digital to bring visual, text and audio content to life. All digital exhibitions go through a rigorous selection process. Exhibitions only display for a fixed period of time, so don’t miss them! The first exhibition is of William Keble Martin’s beautiful botanical drawings.
RAMM works with communities, schools, artists, partners and individuals on creative products. Where these produce co-created digital products Showcase will display them. The first collaboration is a photo essay Shots Taken created by RAMM’s Youth Panel.
With over 1,000,000 objects in the collections there many stories still to tell. To tell these stories museum staff will work with artists, researchers and communities. Miss Linter’s story and her shell collection is the first Untold story. This is part of the 2020 Untold Stories theme at RAMM.
