Masks from around the world - Workshop for home educators

Join artist Ruth Webb for a mask-making workshop inspired by world cultures at RAMM.

In this workshop you will create a mask using card, earth pigment paints and block printing. Together we will look at the meanings of colour, shape and patterns, and how we can use these tools to create a character. By the end of this workshop you will have created a mask that tells a story to take home and share with friends and family.

No experience necessary. All tools and materials provided.

Suitable for children aged 7 – 11, with an accompanying adult. Please ensure you book tickets for everyone that is attending.

You will be based in a room where you can leave bags and coats and have a lunch break. Please bring a packed lunch.
