Travel back in time this May half term and encounter characters from the past, alive at RAMM.
Talk to a Tudor to learn about the hardships of live in 16th Century Exeter. Discover what it was like to live in Tudor times, from the foods they ate to the clothes they wore.
If you reckon Tudor life was tough, then jump back to before history even began!
A pre-historic lady will roam RAMM’s corridors, describing what it was like living off the land, foraging for food, and living in some pretty basic shelters compared to what you’re used to.
Luckily, during those prehistoric times, humans learned to make tools from flint, a very hard stone which is found in abundance around the Exe Valley. Head down to the Courtyard to see an expert knapping a lump of stone into something far more useful. Will it be an awl, an axe, an arrowhead, or something else entirely?
