Night at the Museum - Hairy hands and howling hounds

Dartmoor… a land of myth and legend, full of monsters, giants, ghouls and beasts.

RAMM… a museum alive with wondrous objects and fascinating art.

But this Halloween, these worlds are about to collide!

Drawn to RAMM’s newest exhibition—Dartmoor: A Radical Landscape—the denizens of the windswept wilds have taken up residence inside the museum.

Do you dare dive into the museum at night?

Join us for an evening of family-friendly fun within the museum’s dark galleries and experience RAMM like never before. Don’t worry, to help you find your way around we’ll be making some Dartmoor glow-worms and cracking out some glow-in-the-dark face paints. Then, armed with nothing but a torch and your wits, head off to find clues, solve puzzles, and unravel the legends of some of Dartmoor’s most famous creatures.

Have you heard about the disembodied hairy hands, said to take control of peoples’ cars? Or the beastly hounds rumoured to lead the ghoulish ‘great hunt’ upon the moonlit heathland? Or the epic battle between survivors of the Trojan War and the race of giants said to dwell within Dartmoor’s caves and bogs? Well, you’re about to.

Feel free to rock up in your favourite spooky costume, and bring your own torch, lantern or magical glowing orbs to light your way!
