Transforming the art world:  Post-War Art 1945 to1990s

The second half of the 20th century was one of the most creative and progressive periods in art history.  In a personal and topical talk, Irene Sieberger, senior specialist in Post-War and Contemporary Art at Bonhams, discusses her enthusiasm for and insights into some of the most influential and sought-after global Post-War Art movements.

Illustrated by works from Frieze London (contemporary art fair, 9-13 October) and highest level 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sales at Bonhams (London, 10 and 11 October), she gives an insider’s account of current art market dynamics, from re-discovering artists and identifying trends to sourcing, valuing and selling art in a global environment.
