Find out more about our latest community projects
This was a past community project. To learn about our latest projects and see how we’re collaborating with communities to create a welcoming, accessible museum, visit our Communities page.
We asked people who took part in Moving Here what they thought about their experiences of viewing, handling and talking about RAMM’s objects.
Here are some comments:
“It has been a great pleasure and an honour to take part in these hands on sessions. Thank you very much for inviting me.”
“It’s good to have a curator presenting stuff. It’s good that a curator has knowledge of other cultures. It’s good for black people to know that.”
“I was dubious at first, but I found it very interesting.”
“I liked the fossils and I liked the butterflies… Very educational.”
“It gets you thinking about your own culture. It’s getting back a bit of your own identity.”
