Guidance for museum visitors from 19 July 2021

Many people have been asking what Covid measures will be in place at the museum from 19 July 2021.

Some of the things we have relied upon to keep us safe are changing on 19 July. At the same time, things will be busier, and Covid-19 will still be around. Many people have yet to be vaccinated.

We are therefore recommending that everyone follows Government guidance on face coverings, hand hygiene and maintaining space where possible.

The one way route around the museum will be kept in place, with visitors continuing to enter through RAMM’s Garden entrance and exiting via Queen Street. The Egyptian Tomb will remain closed, but Fly on the Wall, RAMM’s insect gallery, will reopen on Monday 19 July.
