Following the Prime Minister’s announcement, the museum will be re-opening on Thursday 3 December.

We are delighted to be welcoming people back into RAMM once again, and the health and safety of our visitors and staff remains our highest priority.

The museum’s timed ticketing system, allowing us to better manage the flow of visitors through the museum, continues to operate. Tickets are free but all visitors are encouraged to book theirs online prior to their visit in order to guarantee entry. Book tickets here.

The newly introduced one-way system is still in operation; please enter at the Garden Entrance to the rear of the building, and exit through the RAMM Queen Street doors. Visitor numbers will be reduced, screens have been introduced at key visitor/staff contact points, there are clear physical distance markings on the floor inside and outside the buildings, and there will be frequent cleaning of key touchpoints throughout the museum.

We also ask you to do your part to help protect others by not entering the building if you are feeling unwell, wear a face covering unless you are exempt, keep your distance – a giraffe’s stride apart! – and use the hand sanitiser provided.

Click here to book your tickets, and keep an eye on our website and social media channels – FacebookInstagram and Twitter – for the latest updates.
