RAMM will continue to receive Arts Council NPO funding

We’re pleased to report that we will continue to receive funding from Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation, as announced today in the Arts Council’s NPO funding decision for the period 2023-26.

Cllr Laura Wright, Exeter City Council’s lead for Arts, Culture and Corporate Services, said, “This is wonderful news for the city and its citizens. RAMM is the city’s cultural flagship organisation and an important part of our community and civic life. The museum encapsulates all that is good about the city, its energy and ambition, and we are delighted to see this recognised by Arts Council England.

“The fact that RAMM has received an offer of significant funding, on a par to previous years, shows how much our work is valued by Arts Council England. We particularly welcome this support as the funding round was very competitive this time and we are aware that sadly some cultural organisations will be disappointed today.

“This news gives us reassurance that we can continue to deliver a high quality museum service to the people of Exeter, at a time of great need in the communities we serve.”

The exact amount of funding will be confirmed once a funding agreement is negotiated with Arts Council England. Find out more about the 2023-2026 Investment Programme.
